Appearance

Slightly shorter than average but of muscular build, it's not hard at all to guess she is a soldier. Even without her uniform in, her posture is confident and overly stiff, and emotions are hard to read on her scarred face. Of tanned skin and dark blue eyes, she keeps her neck-length silver hair tied up with a ponytail.
Uniform: Default Yanxian officer uniform, light armoured.
Weapon: Standard garlean gunblade.

Background

Lucilla was born in Garlemald, joining the VIIth at age fifteen. Helping the XIVth on the conquest of several provinces, she would eventually rise to become an optio. After the Bozja Incident, she was commissioned to the VIIth as an officer and there made a pilus prior, tasked with defending a minor fortress for eight years. One year ago, she was assigned out of this post with her transference to the Ist legion. She still fights for it, even after losing all of her 600 soldiers.

Extended Background

This goes very in-depth on when and why things happened. It shows what the character was doing during specific events.
If you are the type of person who likes to discover characters through roleplay, turn away. If your character does not have any connection to the Empire or its provinces, you'll find nothing relevant here either. All the basic information about the character is up above. The following section is entirely unnecessary.
It is also tagged by expansion, but, just to be sure:

Pre-A Realm Reborn

Born in Garlemald, Lucilla was drafted at age fifteen into the VIIth legion. One year of training later, she would be assigned as a legionnaire on the conquest of Doma. Afterwards, she joined many other operations to provide support to the XIVth on their conquests. Her Centurio would then be called as one of those responsible for guarding the site of Bozja for the Meteor Project. He promoted her to an Optio brought her along.
Suspecting of Nael's behavior when the project was nearing completion, her Centurio then discharged Lucilla from service and appointed her to study to be an officer. She did and she returned, but instead of being commissioned to the VIIth as she expected, it was to the VIth — which just had a kind of massive purge on its upper ranks and was in dire need of officers.
This is how, eight years ago, Lucilla was assigned pilus prior and then keeper of a minor military fortification in Yanxia.
However, even if effectively a legion born anew, the name of the VIth was already tainted. Regula and most of the other upper officers made redemption their obsession. In turn, their fanaticism drove rival legions to put agents inside the VIth with the sole mission of thwarting the legatus' every turn. Lucilla always made a point to get rid of such spies amongst her subordinates publicly.

Heavensward

Sensing an impending war of sucession, Varis recalled the bulk of the VIth legion to fight at his side on the capital. Lucilla was amongst the forces that clashed against the IIIrd. The VIth were used in the civil war to help assault the encampment of rival factions. At last, they battled honorably in the name of the new emperor, and redeemed themselves. Morale was high, and Regula was sent to Azys Lla.
The VIth returned with the bodies of their comrades and news of the fall of Regula van Hydrus. The remaining troops of the VIth were officially dissolved. A select few were given the freedom to leave the military in the process, as long they weren't caught. Most were re-integrated into other legions. A particularly popular destiny of relocation was the Ist, as those troops who remained in Garlemald were already under Varis' orders.
Lucilla and her two manipulae went to the Ist.

Stormblood

Animosity between the political parties of Garlemald, the Optimates and the Populares, was still high with the defeat of Titus. Varis restored order to the capital with an iron fist. Still a pilus, but without her holding, Lucilla was given the task of raising morale in the older Imperial province of Nhalmasque.

Shadowbringers

On the second sucession war, the rightful heir to the throne, Zenos, was nowhere to be seen. His uncle Nerva made a bid for the throne. Trying to keep the capital in order so that Zenos could return, legatus Quintus would defend the imperial throne from all illegitimate claims. With more divided opinions and the lack of a central authority to the legions as Varis, this sucession war was bloodier than the first.
As soon as she heard notice of this, Lucilla returned to the capital. She would then support her liege, Quintus. Due to the ongoing stress and more divided factions, she would eventually on a conflict be forced to send assault troops as impromtu shock troopers. Lucilla's cohort was downsized another entire manipula on this confront.
This sunk morale as much it would be expected, and the remaining two centurias rebelled. In the following strife, the traitors were executed, and the loyal remainders of the second centuria would be re-integrated into the first. Having a cohort downsized from six to one century was bad, but one hundred soldiers is nothing to laugh at.

Endwalker

Remember those hundred soldiers? The telephoroi happened. Clinging to her radio, she fled from the building she and her turned companions were in. If aught of her forces remain, she does not know.

Timeline: Agnostic. We can play from the most recent patch to when she was a toddler.
Timezone: I'm brazilian (UTC -4). You're welcome to correct my typos. Please do, actually! I'm trying to improve my writing.
Platform: I prefer Discord, but we can do in-game too. I'll tend towards a paragraph in Discord and a phrase in-game.
Lore: I'm heavily lore-abiding, I'll play with people using it at least as a guideline.
Genre preference:
I love playing... drama, political intrigue, slice of life, mature themes, GMed games.
Don't call me for... anything out of a shounen anime.
I have few experience with, and want to try... war strategy.
Romance: I'm not entirely avert to it, just left the message above clear for anyone taking a quick look. I like drama, so human emotions are actually pretty fun to me. Which is to say: If you aren't comfortable with roleplaying emotional distress, don't even try.
ERP: No.
...On the "I like slice-of-life" part: Slice-of-life means different things for different people. I like roleplaying my characters doing routine in the barracks, watching over their comrades in the infirmary and so on. But even this needs a prompt, "something interesting". I'm really not the person to play my characters chatting in taverns or in the street without anything happening in the background, sorry.TL/DR I'm not a fan of "escapism".
